Seneca aqueduct. Constructed of red Seneca sandstone, quarried just upstream from here. The far end of the aqueduct was destroyed by high water and debris on 11 September 1971. The Park Service stabilized the aqueduct after this flood, and it was not damaged by Hurricane Agnes in 1972.
